Socialist Modernist Utopias – The Kelenföld City Centre

What did the Kelenföld area look like in the 20th century? What was the site of the Szent Imre Hospital? If you want to know what it was like to live in the newly built prefabricated houses or what secrets the blue building of the Tétényi út shopping centre holds, join us for a walk. Our journey will take us through the „hills of Bull Park”, in the shadow of the panels, as we find out what life was like in the 1970s and what’s buried beneath the park.

Date: 21st September (Saturday)
Time: 17:00-19:00
Guide: Krisztina Kovács, curator of KÉK
